In short
- –We collect your email (or Google account, if you sign in that way) and the job application entries you enter — nothing else.
- –We don't run analytics, ads, or trackers, and we never sell your data.
- –Your data is stored with Supabase in the EU and locked to your account at the database level — no one else can query it.
- –You can edit, delete, or export your data any time, and delete your account by asking us.
Scope
This policy describes how trkjob.com ("we", "us") handles information when you use the trkjob.com website or Android app (together, the "Service") to track job applications. It applies equally to both — they read and write the same account and data.
By creating an account, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect the email address and password you provide, handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password ourselves. If you choose Continue with Google instead, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google, and nothing else.
Application data. The job applications you track: company name, salary expectation, status (e.g. Applied, Interview, Offer), any notes you add, and the date applied.
What we don't collect. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no location data, no device fingerprinting. We don't track you across other apps or sites.
How we use it
- –To create and authenticate your account, and keep it secure.
- –To store your job applications and show them back to you, and only you, in your dashboard.
- –To respond if you contact us for support.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or otherwise share it with data brokers or marketers.
Where your data lives
Your account and application data are stored in a Postgres database managed by Supabase, hosted in the EU (Ireland). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
Every table is protected by Postgres Row Level Security: every query is scoped to your own user ID at the database level, so there is no application code path — and no other user — that can read or modify your entries.
Third parties
- –Supabase — our database, authentication, and infrastructure provider. They process data solely to run the Service on our behalf.
- –Google — only involved if you choose to sign in with Google, solely to verify your identity. We never receive your Google password.
We use no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs, and no other third-party trackers.
Your rights & choices
- –Edit or delete any application entry at any time, directly from your dashboard.
- –Export your data by contacting us — we'll send you a copy.
- –Delete your account, and everything tied to it, by contacting us at the email below.
Data retention
We keep your account and application data for as long as your account exists. Deleting an application entry removes it from the database immediately. Deleting your account removes your account record and every application tied to it.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
